Dear Friends,

We are back again for our third concert to benefit PAL’s Teen Acting program. The program continues to grow and reach more and more of our cities kids. We are seeing results that we only dreamed of when we started. Our new program within the program, Pathway to Purchase is an example of PAL Acting’s ability to steer young people onto a path to higher education. We regularly visit and stay on the campus so that our kids get to see what a successful college career looks like. We have made similar arrangements with other colleges such as Columbia, Howard University and the College of Charleston. We are working with over 500 young people and continue to get the word out about the program with the help of the kids. This year’s show will be great. A Variety Show with The Cops And Kids Chorus, the kids, celebrity performances and a little of me. I hope you will join us and support our work. The kids of NYC will thank you.

Sincerely,

Tony Danza performs at PAL's 2016 Real Estate and Construction LuncheonAs a lifelong PAL kid who valued the programs available to him as a teen, Tony Danza joined PAL’s Board of Directors to give back to the organization that helped him achieve his dreams. With dozens of TV, film and stage roles on his resume, Tony was first discovered during a gym workout while he pursued a professional boxing career with a love of athletics he learned at PAL. The star of Taxi and Who's the Boss?, Tony earned an Emmy for his guest role on The Practice and received critical acclaim for his performance in Eugene O'Neill's "The Iceman Cometh" on Broadway. Most recently, Tony Danza starred in The Good Cop, a Netflix series. He and his band have been thrilling audiences comprised of timeless music, wit, charm, and a dash of soft shoe and ukulele performances in Standards & Stories,  at Feinstein’s/54 Below and The Carlyle.  After joining the board of PAL, Tony worked to launch the Teen Acting Program under the philosophy that, “when you teach a kid how to act, you teach a kid how to act.”
